TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These General Conditions of Sale (CGV) apply to the reservation made by the Customer. Reservations can be made directly at the hotel, by mail, by e-mail, by telephone, or online via the Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa website or its partners. These General Terms and Conditions are available to Customers on our website. The customer's agreement regarding the general conditions of sale and the conditions of sale of the reserved rate occurs during the reservation; no reservation is possible without this agreement. Any reservation therefore implies full and unreserved acceptance by the Customer of these conditions.

Cancellation deadline
Cancellations can be made without penalty up to 48 hours before the day of arrival, beyond that, 100% of the entire stay will be charged.

Cancellation policies may vary depending on the type of reservation, date of stay, number of rooms reserved and rates selected. Please refer to your reservation details for specific cancellation policies.

No Show (When the customer does not cancel the reservation and does not show up at the hotel): in the event of no-show, for whatever reason, the full price of the stay will be charged.

Check-in/out
Check-in – Arrival time: 15:00 p.m.
Check-out – Departure time: 12:00 p.m.

An early arrival from 12:00 p.m. or a late departure until 14:00 p.m. will be charged €50 including tax per room.
Early check-in scheduled before 12:00 p.m. or late check-out after 14:00 p.m. will be charged at 100% of the daily room rate.

Early departure policy
A guest who checks out of the hotel before their scheduled departure date without respecting the cancellation deadline indicated below is subject to a one-night early departure fee.

Pre-authorization
Guaranteed reservations require a credit card imprint. Le Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa reserves the right to check the validity of the credit card before the client's arrival, by requesting pre-authorization from the corresponding circuit. With pre-authorization, Le Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa guarantees the temporary availability of the total amount of the stay, or part of it, in order to ensure the validity of the credit card. No amount is collected. The pre-authorization automatically expires 20 days after the request date and the amount is released. In the event of pre-authorization with a negative result, the customer will be notified and the reservation will be canceled. In this case, the establishment will have no obligation towards the client. If the customer leaves without having made payment, the pre-authorization will then be debited to cover the amount corresponding to the customer's stay.

Settlement of the file
Payment for your reservation can be made by credit card, bank transfer, cash or holiday vouchers.

Payment by bank check is not permitted.

Whatever the method of payment, it will be made upon your arrival during check-in, before your stay in our establishment.

The customer is required to inform reception upon departure of any drinks they may have consumed in the minibar. If forgotten, Le Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa will inform the customer, bill the consumption and debit, for credit card payments, the bank card provided at the time of reservation.

Prices
Prices displayed on our website are subject to change without notice and may vary depending on season, availability and other factors.

The domestic animals
Pets are allowed for an additional charge of €20 per night.   

The tourist tax
Tourist tax is not included in the rates. It must be paid to the establishment when handing over the keys.

Age Requirements Policy
Guests must be 18 years or older.

Identity Check Policy 
In accordance with current regulations, the customer may be asked, upon arrival at the Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa, to complete a police form. To do this, the customer will be asked to present an identity document in order to check whether or not they must complete the police form.

Tobacco policy
Smoking is prohibited throughout the property.

Policy relating to breaches, damage by the customer
The Client accepts and undertakes to use the room in a good manner. Also any behavior contrary to good morals and public order, any lack of respect towards the staff of the establishment or other clients of the Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa will lead the latter to ask the Client to leave the establishment without no compensation and without any reimbursement if payment has already been made. If payment has not yet been made, the customer must pay the price of the nights consumed before leaving the establishment.

The Customer undertakes not to bring additional people in the room compared to the number of people declared when booking. The Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa must be informed of any additional person present in the room, in accordance with the security rules applicable in the establishment. Otherwise, Le Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa authorizes itself to refuse the rental of the room if the latter does not have the capacity to accommodate the actual number of people present or, if necessary, to charge a supplement if the rented room has the capacity to accommodate the actual number of people present.

The Client undertakes to respect the internal regulations for the use of the relaxation area; Furthermore, use by minors is under the full responsibility of parents or legal representatives.  

Le Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel et Spa reserves the right to charge a supplement of up to €200 in the event that a thorough cleaning of the room is necessary following non-compliant use by the customer and contrary to good morals. . Actual invoicing will be established for all thefts and any damage to equipment, goods or furniture present in the room or in the establishment. In the event that the faulty behavior of the customer who did not use the room in a good manner prevents Le Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa from properly re-renting the room, the customer will be required to pay compensation equivalent to the sale price of the room over the total duration of immobilization of the latter. 

Responsibility
The photos presented on the Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa website or those of partners are merely indicative. Even if all the best efforts are made so that the photographs, graphic representations and texts reproduced to illustrate Le Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa give as accurate an overview as possible of the accommodation services offered, variations may occur, particularly in due to change of furniture or possible renovations. The Customer cannot claim any claim as a result. 

Modification
These General Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time. In this case, Le Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa will transmit the modifications to the Client before the start of the services. From then on, the new version of the General Conditions of Sale will apply to the relations between the parties. 

Force majeure
Force majeure means any event external to the parties presenting a character that is both unforeseeable, insurmountable and external to the parties which prevents either the client or Le Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa from ensuring all or part of the obligations provided for in CONTRACT. Force majeure or fortuitous events are those usually recognized by the case law of French Courts and Tribunals. Each party cannot be held responsible towards the other party in the event of non-performance of its obligations resulting from their reciprocal obligations and that each party bears the burden of the resulting costs.

Partial nullity 
The nullity of one or more articles of these General Terms and Conditions will not result in the nullity of all of them. All other stipulations herein will remain applicable and will produce all their effects. 

Claims and disputes
As part of our quality commitment, complaints arising during the execution of the contract must be reported as soon as possible to the manager of the establishment at the place of stay and before departure so that a solution can be sought as quickly as possible.

Only complaints declared but not resolved on site may be the subject of a written complaint, accompanied by all original supporting documents, sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt and within 30 days following the end of the stay.

Any complaint made after the deadline or not complying with the formal conditions mentioned above will automatically and irrevocably result in the loss of the right to make any complaint.

Canvassing
Article L 223-2 of the Consumer Code states: “When a professional is required to collect telephone data from a consumer, he informs him of his right to register on the list of opposition to the telephone canvassing”.

Applicable law
The applicable law is French law.

Election of domicile
All written communications between the parties (letters, notifications, email, etc.) must be sent for Le Moulin de la Wantzenau Hôtel & Spa to its postal or electronic address, and for the Client to the postal or electronic address indicated in the reservation.
